BETWEEN THE PAGES
Want
to be on the cutting edge? Then you need to realize it's not
what you read or even the book's cover that matters. It's
the accoutrements that count. The Wallaroo Book Pocket, the
invention of Jeanne Bender and Jennifer Salz, could be described
as the literary counterpart of those recliners with a built-in
cup holder and side pockets for the remote and TV Guide. Made
of faux suede, the Wallaroo has two front pockets in addition
to an attached strip of fabric that serves as a bookmark.

Teacher
Testimonial
Teachers
are underpaid, overworked, and under appreciated. As teachers
we are expected to wear numerous hats with various responsibilities
on a daily basis. Essentially, we have become professional
jugglers and keeping it all together can be a monumental task.
The key is to stay organized (easier said than done you say...).
Sometimes the simplest things in life are the best. The WALLAROO
Book Pocket has enabled me to become a better "juggler".
I am able to use the Book Pocket as
a guide in my lesson planner in addition to storing pens,
sticky notes, keys and pocket change inside. Instead of frantically
looking for my keys or getting frustrated because my stash
of pens has magically disappeared, I now know where all of
my "daily essentials" are at any given time. Many of my colleagues
think the WALLAROO Book Pocket is a "lifesaver". And surprisingly
enough, its popularity has caught on with some of my students
too. Fortunately this handy tool can take the summers off
with you and enjoy the pleasure of a good book until the first
bell sounds, ringing in the new school year. The WALLAROO
Book Pocket gets an A+!!

Dear
Jennifer,
As
you know, I am a fan of the Wallaroo Book Pocket. In my capacity
as Executive Director for PIN: Pacific Incubation Network,
I work with over l50 business incubation programs along the
Pacific Coast of North America [Alaska to Baja]. Among my
responsibilities, I plan several major educational events
each year. I recently used the Book Pockets as speaker gifts
to the presenters at the PIN Second Annual Conference in Portland,
Oregon, and they were a big hit. Everyone who received one
had a "perfect" use for it, and, of course, several people
wanted to know where they could buy more. It makes a perfect
gift - it is both practical and attractive, and it is unique
as well, which reflects favorably on the giver! I do hope
you will be sucessful in gaining quick acceptance of the Wallaroo
Book Pocket. It is a clever and delightful innovation!
